I need to reset my ipad mini but when I go to general, there is no reset button, how do I reset it

Restart iPad

To restart iPad, first turn iPad off by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until a red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider and iPad will turn off after a few moments.

Next, turn iPad on by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

Is iPad not responding? To reset iPad, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

If your device does not turn on or displays a red battery icon, try recharging next.

you have to hold the lock and the home button at the same time for a few seconds. that should reboot your ipad. if you are looking to reset by means of erasing all data, it is under settings: General: Reset: in reset there are a few options to choose from. hope this helps 🙂

Are you talking about the setting at the bottom of this screenshot? If you do not have that setting .... Where did you buy your iPad? Could it have been a store demo model? Do you have a Restrictions setting in the General Settings?
