No way to do it on an iMac.

Actually, depending on the model/year you can upgrade the graphics adapter in an iMac but it will void the warranty. I upgraded a friend's iMac 27" 2010 graphics adapter. He's warranty already expired so he didn't mind the cost.

If I'm not mistaken you can only upgrade to what was offered for the build year.
