macbook air airplay 1080P?

Can mid-2011 Macbook Air 1080P airplay mirror to ATV3 at 1080P? I have been having trouble with this. The video does not take up the full screen on my TV through the ATV, since the "best for airplay" or "scaled" resolution options only offer 720P or, at max 1440x900 which is the native LCD resolution.

Airplay does support 1080p. Unfortunately, airplay mirroring on supported Macs is limited to 720p video streaming. Since Macbook Air's do not have a dedicated graphics card like Macbook Pro 15", it can not take advantage of its graphics capability and stream at full 1080p resolution.
