Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Okay, I have a 2007 Macbook Pro (non-unibody) and I recently replaced the keyboard which had a few keys that didn't work from a small water spill. The new keyboard works perfectly fine but now the fans always run full blast non-stop. It's pretty annoying. I tried doing an SMC reset and a PRAM reset but that didn't do anything.
Any ideas???

Take it to the store and tell them it has water damage and pay for a new logic board.
There must be some sort of hidden firmware reset when the keyboard is replaced.
Obviously Apple can replace the keyboard without the fans racing.

If it is firmware, what can I do about this? I used the iFixit guide when I installed the keyboard and did everything it said.
Could it be possible that the thermal sensor might be disconnected or not fully connected when you replaced the keyboard? That would be the only cause for the fan to go warp speed.
I suppose that could've happened. I'll have to go back in and check...
Okay I checked and the sensors seem fine (not disturbed). Also, the temperature readings from the sensors seem normal. Argh.
