Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

The process of getting your book on the iTunes store is very complicated and frustrating. After delivering your book through iTunes Producer it gives you the BIG TICK and after that you have no idea what stage your book is at.

In addition to sell your book on iTunes is a huge exercise, requiring US taxation file numbers that you have to apply directly to the tax office in the US. Once you have done that you then have to jump through several other hoops in iTunes system to be able to sell your books. Then of course I have already explaine the difficulty that I have had to get my book in the store.

The issue isn't having to do all this as explained above, the issue is that Apple makes it sound easy when you start the process and it simply isn't as easy as they state. Being up front about eveything is important. It is clear that Apple hasn't got the process right yet interms of delivery through iBook Author, it is afterall only new product.
