Time strech will not allow my to snap transients to the beat

The Time Stretch feature is wonderful for correcting mistakes in post

HOWEVER

Periodically, I run into this issue: there will be certain regions of the audio file which time stretch simply refuses to allow me to snap to the time grid (or anywhere). If I place a transient within this region and attempt to move it, the transient jumps to far away from the neutral position to a absolute random location. Most transients can be relocated with continuous adjustment; these do not.

I use Logic Pro 9 on Mountain Lion

This is really setting me back because the my drum track is out of time and this bug is literally preventing me from correcting the problem; it only allows me to move the transient to an unintelligible location.

Logic Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
