saving newly-created images
how do i save an image i have created in a keynote presentation for future use in other projects?

I would put iPhoto to work as an reusable, categorical, image organizer. Create specific iPhoto albums that align with the image or special artwork you want to reuse. Then, at the onset of future projects, you have albums that you can visually layout in front of you as an inspirational light table. Categories might include:
- Images, including custom instant alpha images
- Custom Text images
- Custom shapes
