my iphone gets lags when playing games

hey!

i was wondring why does my iphone get theese freeze lags when i play games? it's kinda boring, since i bought ipad i play all my games there but i dont always have it with me.

so does anyone out there know why Iphone 4 causes lags when playing games?.
