I have a software update available in my notication bar. The problem is that this update is installed already. I can't take it off my updates bar in app store. How can I do that?

Do you have a backup of your Mac on an HDD connected to your Mac that still has the older version of this app on it?
No I don't have any backup on my HDD. It's very strange, I have no options or buttons available to get rid of it. I can't redownload or reinstall it. it's for Apple Remote Desktop.
Have you tried reseting your Notication Centre
Or go into settings and disable notifacations for Mac App Store
I deleted it from the notification bar but there still a small (1) above the AppStore Icon in the dock.
The solution came by itself. When I received a new update via applestore, it reinstalled that one and disappeared from the update and notification bar.
