I cannot upload a book from iPhoto. Assembly is completed then it moves to upload. Nothing happens and it freezes the iPhoto program which even force quit will not close it down. Only way is to switch off the computer. This has now happened 4 times (50 page book with 169 photos) Any help please?

Preview the book. If it is correct boot into safe mode and upload

Sorry, this didn't work - infact when in safe mode it simply closed down the program completely
Am having exactly the same problems right now - am so annoyed! Trying to order a photo book (also 50 pages), assembles successfully but then wont upload and whole computer crashes. Thought about saving to disc and trying on another computer but don't know how.....any ideas?
I did have a great deal of problem, as you are and eventually solved it thanks to Eric Root who advised creating a new partition, downloading the operating system and iphoto and doing a new album. As I am not much of an expert on these matters suggest you look up Eric Roots thread.
