Problem with wireless sync on iPad 2

I really could use some help with this problem I am having.

My problem is, ever since upgrading to iOS 6 I have had problems with the wireless sync capability. I have done everything from restarting the iPad, rebooting the iPad, both from backup and completely rebooted as a "new device". I have also reinstalled iTunes.

What happens when I tried all these things, iTunes would "see" my iPad 2 wirelessly and I can get one maybe two wireless sync's out of it before iTunes no longer see my iPad.

I have upgraded to iOS 6.0.1 but have not seen an improvement.

I am running windows 7 (ultimate), iTunes 10.7.0.21, and iOS 6.0.1

Thank you in advance for your help.

P.S.

Ironically my sons iPod touch, when upgrading to iOS 6.0.1 seemed to remedy the same problem he was having with his iPod. My wife has refused to upgrade her iPod touch to iOS 6 and has not had any problems with sync'ing wirelessly.

Some things to try first:

1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)

• Launch Settings app

• Tap on Wi-Fi

• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list

• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Thank you for helping.

I tried all the suggestions you mentioned and for a while it looked like things had been fixed. However this morning when I turned my computer on and opened iTunes my iPad was no longer visible in iTunes and I cannot perform a wireless sync.

I did read the information provided in the links you gave. And and all those suggestions I have had tried to no lasting avail.

My iPad 2 works perfectly well and I have no problems with wifi except when it comes to sync'ing wirelessly to iTunes.

Thank you again for your help in this matter.
