Anyone could simply say their phone is stolen and get a discount. That is probably one of the reasons they do not do this.

In fact my Iphone was stolen, too . Iphone 4s 64gb with lots of data on it. I filed a police report. Apple wouldnt get us any discount for a new one. It is really upsetting. Apple should be interested to sell me a new Iphone. Does it hurt Apple so much to get a loyal customer a rebate of maybe $50.for new device by showing prove of a Police Report?

Now why do you think that Apple owes you a discount if your phone was stolen? What gives you a sense of entitlement? Are you special?

Apple is interested in selling you an iPhone. They will not turn you away when you go to buy one.

My car was stolen and written off years ago. Ford refused to give me a discount on a new one. Unbelievable. I've never bought another Ford since.

This is why a lot of people have home owners/renters insurance. Something like the iPhone is stolen, file a claim and get reimbursed after the deductible is paid.

Does any other phone maker, or any other product manufacturer, do this?
