My iPod touch is stuck in recovery mode & iTunes won't reset it.

While I was updating to ios6, my iPod touch went into recovery mode. iTunes tells me to reset it. But It won't let me do that without updating first. I let it update, but afterwards it still doesn't reset my iPod. I've tried multiple times but it did the same thing...

Try disabling the computer's security software since this may be your problem:

Restore loop (being prompted to restore again after a restore successfully completes)

Troubleshoot your USB connection. If the issue persists, out-of-date or incorrectly configured third-party security software may be causing this issue. Please follow Troubleshooting security software issues. .


Next try placing the iPod in DFU mode and then restoring.
