Freezes when I start it. I can't scroll down thru my albums, the cursor is just unresponsive when you try to click on window to anything. Does not show that software is "not responding" when applying force quit.
Anybody have these syptoms? Any solutions?

What version of iPhoto?
As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?
Terence. I was having some real issues with iPhoto and after and hour or two of fustration I queried the site and came across your suggestion. I tried it and it worked pefectly. Thanks for the advice, it worked very well and solved my problem/fustration lol Thanks Terence

As a Test:
Since it works iPhoto, yoru account and the OS are not the problem - probablu yu need to rebuild your iPhoto library - Back up your iPhoto library, Depress and hold the option (alt) and command keys and launch iPhoto - rebuild your iPhoto library
