Hi just want to check if the macbook pro mid 2012 series icludes all those imovies iphotos apps etc, because i bought the iphoto app and my friend told me it can be installed. But im not sure how to, can anyone help me on this?

    The Included Software section in the Tech Specs of the MBPs on the Store specifically states that iLife is included. That comprises iPhoto, iMovie and Garageband.


    Those will be found in the Applications folder. If your Mac did not have them, you should inquire with the provider why. Those in a sealed box from Apple Stores come complete, but some open box offers from other sellers may have been altered.


    You can also run the App Store application, visit the Apple Software section and check that the iLife components are downloadable/installable without a charge thru it. You will have to authenticate with the AppleID used to register the Mac.

    because my macbook was bought second hand, i do not knw why it doesnt come with it it might be opened by the previous user. what other ways i can do to install the apps without paying?
