Is it my MacBook Pro Retina or Moutain Lion or both that keeps DVDSP from working?

I'm not running ML, but I have not heard of problems.

Does it launch? What do you mean not working?

How did you install the Final Cut Studio apps?

Did you use the original disks or migrate from an older machine?
