Q: I can't find Siri on my iphone 5. How can I get it?

Please help! I just got a new iphone 5 and got it all set up. I had Siri at first and then it disappeared! I can't find it in the app store to get it back. How can I get it back on my phone?

Of course you can't find it in the App Store as its not an app..it's built into the OS.

You have verified that it is in fact enabled, correct?

I can't find it in settings. I tried searching the phone for Siri as well and it came up empty.

It was initially but now it doesn't even show up in my settings to enable it. It's totally disappeared!

OK - I found it in Settings then general. It is turned on. I was able to use it by holding down the button. I was looking for the 'icon on the main screen which for some reason isn't there like it used to be. Is this some new iphone 5 thing that it is just gone? Sorry for my foolish questions. I'm not very techie. Thanks!

Siri is not an app and has never been available from an icon on the home screen.

I realized all you have to do is hold the home button for a couple seconds and siri pops up.
