Can't send photos

I've been trying to send photos via mms to my husband s phone but it keeps saying not delivered. Thought it was his old phone but tried sending to my daughters iPhone 5 and it does the same :(

iPhone 5, iOS 6.0.1

a quick alternative is to use something other than mms: imessage, email, dropbox, etc.

Someone wrote to turn on the cellular and send, I've just done that and it worked but I don't want to have to use that all the time!

then use what i wrote above. obviously you need either cellular or wifi for the above options.
