I have just done a clean install of Mountain Lion ( I was running it before from upgraded Lion, now Its a clean install) I have been manuelly been moving files from my time macchine, but am have trouble locating the physical files of my photos from iPhoto. It was version 9.4.2. Has anybody been able to find the hidden files from iPhoto?

The files are all grouped together in the iPhoto Library and you need to restore that, not manually move files.

I found it by searching Backups.backupdb>UserMaBookPro>Latest>Machintosh HD>Users>Pictures>iPhoto Library
I draged that to the pictures file on my Mac and double clicked it. Everything loaded into iPhoto just as I had left it before I wiped my drive.
You absolutely sure about that?
Because TM uses a system of incremental back ups that means any one back up may only contain the chnages since the previous one. That's why it needs to be restored...
Maybe you've been lucky, or never backed up before...
