safari 6.0 will not allow gap.com when typed in window

Whenever I type in the website www.gap.com into my safari window it comes up that the gap website is Down and under construction temporarily. When I contacted gap they sent me an email to get rid of the cookies and cache-I deleted them and I still couldn't get on. The only way I can get on is by going into google and linking through the link.

this is getting very irritating, any help is appreciated.
