I do not want to sync films from my iTunes account to my iphone

I do not want to sync any films to my iPhone . I have downloaded films onto my iPad and normally they sink to my phone but I do not want to use up the phone memory . Please advise

iPhone 3GS, iOS 6.0.1

You can set up every device differently in iTunes. Connect your phone and deselect the option to sync movies in the movie pane. When you connect your iPad, the option will still be selected, iTunes remembers the settings for each device.

Also make sure that the option to automatically sync new purchases to your phone is deactivated in Settings/iTunes and App Store/Auto Downloads.
