Now that podcasts are separated from iTunes how do you play them with you car stereo?

I know I can use Bluetooth streaming but removing podcasts from iTunes create a driving safety hazard!

I had been using my iPhone via ice link for years so I am used to controlling music directly from the phone but my new car has MMI and supports iPod connectivity.

Now I see podcasts are separated and even the playlist I crested to include the pod casts is empty.

I'll see this am if my car sees the pod casts but I doubt it. More to follow.

So it does NOT work.

There is a list of podcasts but the one I choose did not coorespond to the correct audio file.

And the volume control does not function on the car stereo when you choose a podcast.

Of course Bluetooth play works and you can start and

Stop playback with the MMI button.
