Impossible? If you don't know where your files are (why don't you know where your files are?), you can use Spotlight to find them and drag and drop to the event.
Agreed with Tom, and I gave the same answer to someone (maybe this OP) on another forum. How does an editor not know where his files are? Seriously?
Tom and Ben. Are you editors? Are working with up to 1000 files or more in some of your projects?
I dont think so... AND I thought any questions is a good question. But you seem to be looking different on this.
And Final cut in the latest update changed this function after severdl version with the function.
