Are you using the iPhone in the country you bought it from?
check it here: http://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/
Hello, yes i am, my carrier has already issued me a 4G enabled nano-sim, still there is no LTE switch on my phone 😟
Just to clarify ckuan's question: Did you buy the phone that was specifically designed to work on your carrier's LTE network? Different carriers use different frequency bands. So not all phones are compatible with all carriers for LTE.
I have the model A1429 and my carrier supports LTE bands 1800mhz & 2100mhz
I restored my phone, reset network settings etc... still no help 😟
You have to contact your carrier about LTE. They need to update carrier setting OTA (over the air). There's nothing we can do here.
Note: LTE may not be supported in certain area, contact your carrier.
My carrier says LTE is already enabled on my line
Is your carrier on this list? http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1937?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
My carrier is Orange Mauritius
You have the nano-sim do not mean you have LTE.
According to the list KiltedTim provided Orange Mauritius do not support LTE.
Orange mauritius does support LTE and they confirmed having activated it on my line
Then talk to Orange, because according to Apple, they do not yet support LTE on the iPhone.
Proximus (Belgium) support LTE on the iPhone but APPLE don't. It is not fair...
i have the same problem. the carrier says LTE is enabled but there is no button on the iphone 5 where i can start it.
