iWeb locks up when publishing to Facebook

This problem only occurs when I have ticked the box to connect to Facebook. I have no problems uploading to my website using FTPdirectly from iWeb with all the folders turning blue when it is done. However, if I tick the box that connects me to Facebook, it logs me into my Facebook page and then comes to a grinding halt. Any suggestions? What I am looking for is the announcement in Facebook that the website has been updated.

This function hasn't worked for some time. You should uncheck the box or it will prevent publishing.

Hi Roddy. I've seen your posts elsewhere in the forums re-iWeb and wonder if it's possible and practical to partition my iMac hard drive to run Snow Leopard from one partition so that I can use iWeb with all its functions and then restart the iMac from the other partition to run Mountain Lion for my every day stuff?

I have an external drive which has Snow Leopard on one partition and a Mountain Lion backup on another.

You need to erase the drive to create the patitions so doing this with your internal drive is not very practical. Since you need to back it up to an external drive before partitioning, you might as well have Snow Leopard on the external drive. It doesn't take much time or effort to boot from this drive when you want to use iWeb.
