Is there any way to show all events in their local time?

I'm familiar with Time Zone Support, and use it all the time. But sometimes (e.g. I'm checking the time of a meeting scheduled next week in another time zone) I just want all events to display in their local time, the same as airline schedules do. But I don't think iCal can do this - a stupid oversight. If I'm wrong, tell me how to do it. If not, let's raise **** with Apple until they add this simple and very necessary feature!
