What is the best way to manipulate a vocal wave file when changing the tempo of the file?

Hi. I have a wave file that has a tempo set to 105. The song tempo i am currently working on is 128 but I want to use that wave vocal file to fit the song. I think I understand that I can time stretch the audio file or use flex mode by dragging the file to fit tempo. Are these techniques the best way to do this so that the vocal audio file is not distorted so much as it changes from a tempo of 105 to 128 or are theere other ways to go about this?
