Quicktime crashes while streaming .mpg files

When attempting to stream a video (located on a server in our network), QuickTime force closes... The videos play fine on the server itself.

Windows 7 Enterprise

QuickTime 7.7.2

The logs on the machine show this:

Faulting application name: QuicktimePlayer.exe, version: 7.72.80.56, time stamp: 0x4f8f7ca4

Faulting module name: QuickTimePlayer.dll, version: 7.72.80.56, time stamp: 0x4f8f7c8a

Exception code: 0xc0000409

Fault offset: 0x00005b6d

Faulting process id: 0xefc

Faulting application start time: 0x01cdc292c26f19a9

Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\QuickTime\QuicktimePlayer.exe

Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\QuickTime\QuickTimePlayer.dll

I have tried from several different computers... all of them produce the same results.

I tried updating to 7.7.3, same results.

I tried clicking the legacy codec box just in case, same results.
