how to delete apps in iphone 5

By 'not getting completed' do you mean that you haven't fully downloaded if ? If you do, what have you tried to see if you can get it to download e.g. have you :

- disconnected and reconnected to your network

- tried a different network

- checked for other downloads that's stopping it e.g. have you got films or TV programmes downloading in the iTunes Store app

- done a soft-reset / reboot of the device

Press and hold any of the apps and after a couple of seconds or so they should start to shake. Then press the 'x' in the left corner to delete the ones that you don't want, and when you've finished deleting press the home button so as to stop the shaking. If you don't get the 'x' on any of the apps that you've downloaded (you can't delete built-in apps) then check that Settings > General > Restrictions > Deleting Apps isn't set 'off'

I deleted my app from my phone so I could rebuy it with my new ID and password.-synced my phone and then went back to itunes store and the app still shows downloaded. How can I buy it? It is actually a free app but will not work on my phone as it needs updated.

I took the following steps to delete apps on iPhone permanently from my iTunes library. I use a MacBook Air and iTunes 12.0.04:

Open iTunes
Go to the Library drop down box
Select Apps
Click on individual app, press delete and hit enter
