This download stuck when almost complete. A box asking me to close Safari appeared and cannot be removed. I have tried shutting down but am prevented from doing so. Other downloads are backed up waiting for this one to complete.

I have this problem too. I've tried everything but with no success.

Can you force quit Safari from the Apple loge top left of menu?
