Hi all -
my 2008-ish 30-inch cinema display now flickers at any brightness except 100%. Will not dim - just flickers.
No problem dimming the MBP screen - JUST the 30-inch screen.
2010 MBP, 10.8.2.
Help? Thanks!

Update - took the display to Apple last night. $500 to have them repair it, would come with a 90-day warranty. Took it home. On a whim, searched for "monitor dimmer." BAM!!! There are several apps that will alow me to dim my display! I bought the 99-cent "Work At Night" app. Works wonderfully!
99 cent repair vs. $500 plus tax! Wow.
