Q: when i hit a number key, my wireless keyboard causes the screen to jump to mission control.  Why is this?

Keyboard casues the imac to jump to a mission control screen.

Batteries are at 100%

bluethooth connection is fine.

iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.5)
