I was just wondering what the battery of an iPod touch 4g 32gb should be because my ipod had a terrible battery like 2hrs so apple gave me a new ipod 4 free (1yr warranty) and that iPod seemed no better maybe worse. btw i hav ios6. 😟

It would depend on how you are using the ipod. If you're constantly using it for video gaming, the battery discharge rate would be quite high. But if you're using it in a more "normal" sense, such as checking e-mails or visiting websites it should last for the whole day, at least. Watching lots of video will also pull your battery down faster, causing the battery to deplete at a higher rate.
