iPhone 5 screen tints green

My iPhone 5 screen has tinted green ever since I bought it. What gives?

This happens to my iPhone 5. It started about a year into it's life, one day the screen just went really green. The only solutions I've found to temporarily help are touching the screen focus in various spots to see where the white balance restores itself to normal. It doesn't always work. It never goes green on the front camera. When it does go crazy it's always on the back camera and depends on something I can't pinpoint. Also at night, in low light and darkness the back camera freezes up altogether. It's really a pain. It's not the colour filters, I've checked all that. I took it to G Bar at Apple and they conveniently told me: Sorry, it seems we only do camera repairs on iPhone 4 and 5S. Your 5 is not eligible. Thanks Apple, that's helpful. It's obviously a hardware issue because it's been this way thru the last 2 operating systems. Any ideas on what it could be? Anyone else have this issue? Thanks!
