I have reported numerous POI location errors in my area well over a month ago and nothing has been updated yet. Any word on how long it takes before POI's are updated?
I have do the same but nothing is updated!
In my Area the POIs older than 2 Years.
Other Provider like Openstreetmap, Yelp, Foursquare and Tomtom POIs are much better (or younger) so where get Apple this old stuff?
People are (hopefully) reporting mapping errors from all over the world. The data cannot be expected to be corrected in a few days, or weeks, with any particular reports. It will be an ongoing process for years, as it has been for Google.
I understand its going to take some time because of all the requests they are getting. But when you have a product that is so messed up, you'd think Apple would have a large enough team to tackle these errors in a timely manor. When I travel, nearly every POI is no where near where it should be. Apple maps isn't just "not one of our finer moments", it is a complete fail.
