I use both the Windows 7 and 8 platforms. I recently purchased Quicktime Pro. It doesn't work at all. The download icon doesn't appear

when the video starts. I appreciate any help.

I don't understand what you mean by a "download icon" when the "video starts". Can you please describe your situation and problem in more detail?

Note that QuickTime does not at this time officially support Windows 8, so it's possible you will encounter problems.
