App store account without a credit card

Just bought a Macbook Pro, and trying to get my software updates. I do have an old Apple Account but the Card i used to use has now expired and i dont have a new one that will work(Our current country location is not supported by App Store). So how am i supposed to update this thing? The old Software update was so much easier.

It is a simple solution, keep it how it used to be. I never had this problem with my 2008 Macbook. It was all under software update and worked fine. They have made it this way so that we hesitate less to buy their programs as our Credit information is already typed in. Yes, I can set my location to Australia or America and use a family members Credit Card, but why should I? By making simple things harder, it makes people like me resort to using Torrents and other "unsupported" ways of getting updated programs. I have paid for the laptop, I have paid for the programs, I should be entitled to the updates aswell.

I do thankyou for your help though, Hackintosh, my rant is not directed at you, im just ****** off and feeling like I have wasted money when I normally have nothing but praise for anything Apple.
