How do I update iTunes on my ipad
When I went to sync my ipad2 to my PCM it said it would not sync unless I updated my iTunes but I cannot figure out how to update it on my ipad2 ?

The message is referring to iTunes on your computer, not on the iPad (built-in apps on the iPad can only be updated by updating the whole iOS). You can check if you are up-to-date via, on a PC, 'Help > Check For Updates', and on a Mac 'iTunes > Check For Updates'
