When importing a 54mb tiff into motion, it gets all grainy? Is there a setting I've missed or why is this happening? I've tried pdf, jpeg and psd and it's the same result everytime.
Any help is appreciated!

Check and see if the images are RGB or CYMK? They should be RGB...
