For my job im given photos from photoshoots i do on CDs. They work just fine on PCs and my new Mac just reads them as blank. It recognises that there is a disc but wont read anything on it. Im not sure if this is normal or something is wrong? Can anyone help?

If the cd's were burned on a pc they may have been burned for pc only. They should be burned for universal useage.
