I meant to only sync a specific photo folder on my Laptop with my Ipad.
Clearly I did something wrong now ALL my foldsers from my Laptop are on my Ipad.
The manual says only folders created on the Ipad can be deleted or renamed ??
How can I get rid of these folders on my Ipad that I don't there??

They can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync. You need to re-connect the iPad to your computer and select it on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, and then use the Photos tab on the right-hand side to select which photo folders that you want on the iPad : syncing photos.

You have to unsyncing them using iTunes. Deselect them (uncheck then) and follow that with a sync.
Connect the iPad to your computer, launch iTunes, select your iPad on the left under the devices heading, click on the Photos Tab on the right. Then uncheck all of the folders within that main folder that you sync from and click on Apply in the lower right corner of the iTunes window.
Don't post your email address in a public form.
thanks so much! May I ask another same question pse. When I delete a email it seems the email gets deleted but I get a reply saying somthing like "cannot transfer (not sure about the verb) to the trash bin". Am I doing something wrong or what is the correct way to delete emails from the inbox? Thanks again for your help Johan
Try going into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Then select the account on the right-hand side of that screen, select Account, then Advanced, Deleted Mailbox, and under On The Server tap the 'Trash' folder so that it gets a tick against it - then come out of that series of popups by tapping on the relevant buttons at the top of them and then see if you can delete emails.
If that doesn't fix it then try turning the account off and on : Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars , then tap the account on the right, slide Mail to 'off', exit settings and go back into the Mail app, and then go back to Settings and slide Mail back to 'on'
Another option is to try closing the Mail app via the taskbar : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
And/or a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
