I have a 2nd generation Shuffle. My PC will not see it when I plug it in .
Plus the green light comes on and goes off straight away.
It was working fine and just run out of battery. I am trying to recharge it and my PC will not recognise it.
Any ideas ?

What have you tried so far in terms of troubleshooting this issue? Are you plugging the iPod into a high powered USB 2.0 port on the back of your PC? Have you seen this article?

What happens if you try to reset the device with it still connected to the PC?
Have you carefully worked through each and every single suggestion in this Apple support document?
