Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

My Macair, somehow lost half of my Notes, and with the Notes went all of my passwords. Can I restore Notes from iCloud?

Somehow, I managed to delete many important Notes from that app. Can I restore that file from iCloud? Or, is the backup just for a total restore? If I do a total restore, will I get my missing Notes back?

MacBook Air, iOS 6

The backup on iCloud is for Restoring an iOS device. Time Machine is your best otpion although Apple has it messed up a little here as well on Mountian Lion. Read https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4179465?answerId=19171700022#19171700022 for tips on loacting the folders then enter Time Machine to see if you can recover the notes. I found for the most part though old note are not recoverable using Time Machine as well. I'm suprised this has not been fixed yet since it pretty much breaks the whole idea behind Time Machine.
