Salvage an iMovie project file from an iPhone 4s

This is a tough one:

I have created an iMovie project on my iPhone 4s. When in iMovie, I can choose the "play" button and view the movie that has been created. However, I cannot export the iMovie project to the available destinations (facebook, camera roll, etc) because I accidentally deleted the source video files used for the project. Also, I did not take a backup of the iPhone videos in iTunes or iCloud.

So, there's the movie, staring me in the face when I play it back; how do I get it off of the phone?

Thanks!
