Unable to open Facebook App

For sometime I have been completely unable to launch the Facebook app on my iPad. I do not recall anything specific that happened prior to my problems beginning. I have removed the app, deleted my account from the iOS integration, and reinstalled several times to no avail. When I attempt to launch the program all I get is a blank white background and blue bar at the top, after several seconds the app crashes/closes. I have searched around and can't seem to find anyone else having the same issue. Any ideas?

I have looked at other discussions and have not found a solution. I have tried the following, and none have done anything.

  • Closing Facebook app and relaunching
  • Closing all apps and relaunching Facebook
  • Delete Facebook app and reinstall
  • Restart iPad
  • Reset iPad (press power and home for 10 seconds)


I have checked for updates for both iOS and Facebook and am using the most up to date version.


Any ideas???
