iOS 6 Upgrade Issues Playing Music Through USB in Truck
Ok, so I held off upgrading to iOS 6 because of this very reason, it wasn't stable... But my **** work forced the upgrade because of some issue that was supposedly fixed with meeting hijacking. Anyways, my phone worked perfectly since I've had it running on iOS 5 for over a year now. It worked fine just the other day playing music through usb in my Toyota Tundra truck BEFORE the upgrade. Then, I upgraded to iOS 6 and all **** broke loose. Here's the 2 problems I'm facing right now.
Issue 1:
When I get to my truck and plugin the USB connecter and then start the truck and turn it to USB mode, it WILL NOT play music. I have to actually reboot my phone by holding the power key on top, shutting down, and then turning on again. When it turns back on, VIOLA! Music starts playing and will continue playing for my whole ride. Then when I leave the truck and return, same issue, no music... have to power phone down and back up to get music to play. This DID NOT happen in iOS 5 AT ALL!!!!!
Issue 2:
When I do finally get music to play, and I have an incoming call, I can answer it and the music will stop. After about 1 minute, even though I'm still on the call, my music will start playing through the internal phone speakers, making me have to hangup the call, pause the music and call the person back. This DID NOT happen in iOS 5 AT ALL!!!
If you have any ways you think might fix this, please help me out here... This is so annoying I can't take it anymore!
I commute 2 hours a day and NEED my music to work!
APPLE PLEASE YOU NEED TO ADDRESS THESE ISSUES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or I'm changing my phone to something besides Apple, enough is enough, this is rediculous!
