Do I have to register again for Microsoft Office for another user on my computer to use it?

I have a version of Microsoft Office the is registered for 3 computers. My wife is trying to use Microsoft Office under her user account but it asking for registration. So my question is...Is my Office version for 3 separate computers or 3 users?
