Airport Extreme green light off

I am using an Apple Airport Extreme and I have it hooked up to Cox Cable Internet via their best Cisco Router, I am getting the internet on my iMacs via my Apple wireless network yet the Airport Extreme continues to show a blinking yellow light instead of a solid GREEN light. What is going on here?
