updating to snow leopard, how to protect logic files?

Is there anything I should do to protect my logic files and the songs that I've been working on before updating my OS X from 10.4 to 10.6 snow leopard? I just want to make sure all my work will be safe.
Thanks,
Chris

Your question has actually nothing to with Logic specifically. Whenever you do a system update, ALLWAYS make a full backup (clone) in case something goes wrong. This way you have a safety net to get any files back, not just Logic files.

If you don't have a backup strategy in place, then you should do it now. There is a saying "It is not the question IF your drive will die, it is the question WHEN it will it die"

There are many backup solutions available and hard drives and cloud storage is getting more affordable all the time, so there is no excuse.

Hope that helps
