add one CD to iPad without erasing current music

I have already added a CD to my library. I would like to add this CD to the iPad2 without resyning everything. Message says I can erase and resync or cancel. Neither are good options. Also says I am synced to a diferent library. Are libraries specific to an iTunes account log-in? I have my iTunes store account and my daughter has an iTunes account. I don't recall having to be logged in to the iTunes account to sync my previoius iPods or iPads.

Thank you for any infomation.

Yes iDevices are synced to specific iTunes accounts and apparently you did sync with another iTunes library at one time or another and maybe you just don't remember doing it.

Without getting into all of the steps of creating an iTunes library that your iPad can sync with, if you just want to add some more music to the device, you can manually manage songs in order to transfer music to the iPadwithout syncing or erasing the device.

Read this for the instructions as to how to accomplish what you want to do.
